The controversy intensified after the Congress released five videos which it says provide evidence of organized unlawful activities at Anandpur Dham. According to party leaders, the visuals suggest that these were not isolated incidents but part of a systematic operation that continued for a long time. Congress leaders questioned why the government has not ordered a forensic examination of the videos if it believes the allegations are baseless.
Adding to the political storm, the Congress has alleged that three IAS officers may be linked to the case. Although the party has not publicly disclosed the names of the officers, the claim alone has caused concern within administrative circles. Congress leaders have stated that if a fair and independent investigation is conducted, influential individuals could be exposed, regardless of their position or rank.
Anandpur Dham has traditionally been regarded as a place of religious faith, drawing devotees from various parts of the state.
