Amritsar Majitha Road Blast: A powerful explosion shook the Majitha Road Bypass area in Amritsar on Tuesday, claiming the life of a man who had allegedly arrived at the scene to collect a suspicious consignment. The blast, which occurred on a vacant plot within a residential colony, has raised serious concerns about cross-border terror activities and the ongoing efforts to destabilize peace in Punjab.

Eyewitnesses reported that the explosion was deafening, prompting locals to rush out of their homes in panic. On reaching the site, they discovered a critically injured man, with both his arms blown off above the wrists due to the intensity of the blast. Maninder Singh, SSP Amritsar Rural, confirmed that police were already monitoring the movements of the deceased, suspecting his involvement in illegal activities.
