One of the clips, reportedly recorded on April 12, 2025, at 9:39 PM, shows Amar Kishore Kashyap with a woman near the staircase inside the party premises. Party’s Reaction and Official Notice
Reacting to the situation, BJP’s Uttar Pradesh President instructed the party’s General Secretary and State Headquarters In-charge Govind Narayan Shukla to issue a formal notice to Amar Kishore Kashyap. The notice alleges that Kashyap’s behavior is damaging to the party’s image and is being treated as a case of indiscipline. The letter clearly mentions that failure to provide a satisfactory explanation within the stipulated time may result in strict disciplinary action.
Amar Kishore Kashyap Responds to Allegations
In his defense, Amar Kishore Kashyap acknowledged that he is the individual in the video but denied any wrongdoing. He explained that on April 12, a female party worker from Bhopatpur contacted him stating that she was unwell and needed rest. According to Kashyap, he personally brought her to the office for some rest. “While climbing the stairs, she felt dizzy, and I simply assisted her,” he said. He further claimed that the video is being misrepresented with malicious intent and termed it a “political conspiracy” aimed at tarnishing his image.
Anonymous Complaint Sent to State President
Sources confirm that an anonymous letter, along with the video, was sent to the state BJP president. The letter urged immediate investigation and action against Kashyap, stating that such behavior not only harms the party’s reputation but also subjects workers to public ridicule and trolling.
