Taking to X, the actor posted: “Worried sick over the recovery of Sri Tej. Didn’t visit injured and their families directly owing to advice to seek legal opinions.”. However, he reiterates his commitment to catering to their needs and wishes for the speedy recovery of Sri Tej.

Amid the controversy, Pushpa 2: The Rule has continued doing well at the box office, having now crossed over ₹1,409 crores. The fans rejoiced at the success of their film while, unfortunately for the producers and makers of the film, the incident has cast a dark shadow across its success. Critics, however, feel that to avoid such incidents in the future, public events could be made more strict about adherence to safety measures.
