Ashok Kharat Viral MMS Case: 58 Secret Videos Found, Hidden Camera Scandal Exposed

Ashok Kharat Viral MMS Case: The arrest of Ashok Kharat has triggered widespread outrage after shocking details emerged in a sexual exploitation case from Nashik. Known locally as a self-styled astrologer and often referred to as “Captain,” Kharat is accused of using manipulation, fear, and hidden surveillance to exploit multiple women over a period of time.

The case came to light after a 35-year-old woman approached the police and accused him of repeated sexual assault. According to her complaint, she was called under the pretext of performing religious rituals, where she was allegedly given intoxicating substances and later assaulted. She also claimed that he used threats and psychological pressure, including fear related to occult practices, to silence her.

As the investigation progressed, police recovered a pen drive from Kharat’s premises that reportedly contains around 58 suspicious video clips. Officials believe many of these videos were recorded using hidden cameras installed at his office and farmhouse without the knowledge or consent of the women involved. This discovery has raised serious concerns about the scale of the alleged exploitation and the possibility of more victims.

Authorities revealed that Kharat operated from an office in the Canada Corner area, where he would invite women facing personal or family issues. He allegedly gained their trust through astrology consultations and then trapped them in compromising situations. Investigators suspect that some victims may have been blackmailed using recorded footage.

The Maharashtra government has taken the matter seriously and formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by IPS officer Tejaswini Satpute to conduct a thorough probe. The SIT is examining digital evidence, financial records, and possible connections that may have helped the accused operate without detection for so long.

During raids at his farmhouse, police also recovered a pistol, live cartridges, and several documents that are now under scrutiny. His properties, including a temple and an ashram in Mirgaon, are also being investigated to understand whether they were used in the alleged activities or to build influence among followers and visitors.

The arrest itself was carried out through a carefully planned operation. To prevent any leak of information, police created a diversion outside his residence and managed to apprehend him before he could react or destroy evidence. Officials say this strategy helped secure crucial materials linked to the case.

The controversy has also taken a political turn, as reports suggest that Kharat had connections with influential individuals. Images and videos of him with known personalities have surfaced on social media, prompting calls for a deeper investigation into his network.

Police officials believe that the case may expand further as more evidence is analyzed. They have urged any other potential victims to come forward and assist in the investigation. As the probe continues, the case stands as a grim reminder of how trust and belief can be misused, and why strict action against such crimes remains critical.
