Kajal Kumari MMS Leak Case: Bhojpuri Actress’s Mother Breaks Silence, One Arrested in MMS Scandal

The Bhojpuri entertainment world has been left shaken after a fake obscene video allegedly featuring 15-year-old child artist Kajal Kumari went viral online. The clip, titled “Kajal Kumari MMS Leak Case”, circulated across social media platforms at the end of October 2025, sparking outrage, heartbreak, and a massive online debate over digital ethics and AI misuse.

Despite swift fact-check reports confirming the video as 100% AI-generated, the damage was already done. The viral clip, viewed over five million times on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Telegram, and Facebook, has severely impacted the young star’s mental health and family life.

Who Is Kajal Kumari?

Born in 2010 in Bikramganj, Rohtas (Bihar), Kajal Kumari rose to fame with Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav’s hit track “Kalam Chaba Gaini” in 2024. Known for her energetic dance videos and innocent charm, Kajal quickly gained a following of over 200,000 fans on Instagram.

But on October 30-31, 2025, her name began trending for the wrong reasons — after a deepfake video portraying her in a compromising scene surfaced online.

Mother’s Emotional Plea Goes Viral: “Don’t Destroy Someone’s Daughter”

As trolling and online abuse intensified, Kajal’s mother came forward with an emotional video appeal that has since gone viral. Folding her hands in front of the camera, she said in Bhojpuri:

“Hello, I’m Kajal’s mother. Like you have mothers, sisters, and daughters at home — please don’t destroy someone else’s daughter. Support my child in this difficult time.”

Her heartfelt plea moved thousands across social media, sparking the #SupportKajalKumari trend. Prominent Bhojpuri actors and filmmakers also demanded strict laws against AI deepfake misuse.

Police Action: One Accused Arrested in the Case

Following Kajal’s formal complaint at the Bikramganj Police Station (Case No. 726/25), authorities began tracing the source of the viral video.

On November 7, 2025, police arrested Chanchal Kumar alias Chanchal Badmash, son of Vinod Baitha from Matuli village, in connection with the case. His mobile phone, reportedly containing evidence related to the fake video, has been seized.

Station House Officer (SHO) Lalan Kumar confirmed the arrest, saying, “The accused has been sent to judicial custody. Further investigation is ongoing.”

Kajal later shared on Instagram, “Police have caught one accused. Justice will prevail.”

Deepfake Truth Revealed: Extortion and AI Manipulation

In a tearful Instagram Live session on November 2, Kajal broke her silence, stating that the clip was completely fake and part of a blackmail attempt. She revealed receiving messages demanding ₹30 lakh to prevent the video’s release.

Digital forensics confirmed her claims — the footage had mismatched lighting, face overlay artifacts, and background inconsistencies typical of AI-generated deepfake content.

Experts now warn that this case could mark a turning point in India’s cybercrime investigations related to deepfake and AI content abuse.

A Wake-Up Call for the Industry

This incident has reignited memories of previous Bhojpuri scandals involving fake MMS clips of actresses like Shilpi Raj and Priyanka Pandit. Many in the industry are now urging the government to bring tougher legislation and digital verification systems to protect artists — especially minors — from AI-based exploitation.
