Thiruvananthapuram, December 29: Actor Dileep Sankar was found dead in a hotel room in Trivandrum. According to sources, he had arrived in the city four days ago for a shoot but had been missing for the past two days. Hotel staff reportedly noticed a foul smell emanating from his room and alerted authorities. Upon opening the room, they discovered his dead body.
His colleagues revealed that he had been struggling with serious health issues. Forensic experts have collected samples from the scene, and further details are expected to emerge following the preliminary police investigation.
Dileep Sankar, who has been starring in popular TV serials like Ammayarithe and Panchagni, had been staying at the hotel during his shooting schedule for the show. Producers of Panchagni said he was last seen on the sets two days ago.
